David Rodgers, also known as the Detroit Key Man, is a professional pianist who specializes in the evolution of popular music of the 20th century. He offers complete shows in a wide range of topics, from Broadway to Motown, from Folk Rock to Taylor Swift, and many others in between, with more topics being released regularly. David has performed for libraries, synagogues, churches, concert halls, festivals, weddings, bar mitzvahs, house concerts, and corporate and personal events and parties. He is also a former K-12 music teacher and currently runs a piano studio in Oak Park, Michigan. David earned his music teaching certificate and studied piano under Ida Leshchinskaya at the University of Michigan-Flint.
